Short Description: Weaving together Yoga, Taichi, and Rolfing-based postural alignment, this 3-element workshop is geared toward relieving spinal stiffness, reducing alignment-related pain, and implementing helpful postural habits for prolonged postural improvement. Taught in tandem by our 3 practitioners, followed by a cup of Jeff’s warming herbal tea blend.

Element 1 - Dynamic Strength: Yoga Flow for Stability & Mobility. Movement emphasizing the dual role of the spine as the stabilizing center of the body and its adaptable and mobile axis. Experiment with movement that relieves stiffness, facilitates ease, and supports functional strength. With Kathleen Bostleman, RYT, LMT.
Element 2 - Energy Refinement: Find your Central Axis with Taichi. Learn how to use relaxation as your source of power. This lesson seeks to resolve structural or postural related pain as well chronic tension of all kinds locked inside of the body. For anyone interested in forming a deeper connection with the body (spine) and learning principles for structural integration that can be applied in sitting, standing, and exercise. Element 3 - Daily Integration: Rolfing-based Tips for Easeful Alignment. Actively explore your posture by understanding the physical and psychological elements of your structural expression.
