If you spend most of your day at a computer typing, clicking, and scrolling, your hands, wrists, and forearms might be feeling the strain. This workshop is designed for individuals who engage in any repetitive daily activity at work who want practical, effective tools to relieve tension and reduce discomfort from daily use and cumulative stress. Together, we’ll give your hardworking upper limbs some well-deserved care and introduce tools that will sharpen your awareness of your body while on the job.

This session blends mindful movement, simple exercises and stretching, self-massage techniques, and foundational anatomical education. You will gain a basic knowledge of the muscles, tendons, and nerves involved in hand and wrist function to help you understand why discomfort can occur and how to address it. You'll learn how to reduce restriction in the wrists and hands and restore mobility—all through movements and techniques you can easily integrate into your routine. You’ll discover easy-to-follow self-massage methods for mapping the upper extremity and releasing forearm tension using your hands and simple tools. Everything can be done from a chair—no yoga mat or prior experience necessary.

This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to stay proactive about their health and reduce physical stress from screen time. It’s ideal for remote workers, desk dwellers, creatives, and anyone who wants to be more connected to their body while working in any setting.

What to bring: 2 massage balls/tennis balls and a sleeve/sock (TheYoga Tune Up Balls are my favorite!), a yoga block or sturdy stack of books, and a resistance band
