Offering Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine
Instagram
Dr. Vivian Mac (she/her) is passionate about sharing healing practices that empower you to improve your wellbeing, so that you can do what matters to you. Trained in acupuncture as well as Chinese and Western herbal medicine, she has both witnessed and experienced the improvements that these modalities have on the mind, body, and spirit as an integrated whole.
Vivian’s clinical experience includes treating patients at Boston Medical Center, UMass Memorial Medical Center, and the New England School of Acupuncture at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her approach to holistic healthcare is informed by her work with meditation communities and spiritual, healthcare, and educational nonprofit organizations, her experience as a chiropractic assistant working with a collaborative team at an integrative wellness center, her work as an herbalist at a local apothecary during the height of COVID, and her personal journey with herbalism and its connection to her ancestral and cultural healing practices.
Vivian sees how Chinese medicine offers powerful tools for taking charge of our health in modern times, especially as we move through collective uncertainty and live in a society that promotes disconnection from our bodies, our environment, and the cycles of nature.
Based in New York City and New Jersey, the indigenous land of the Lenape, she offers healing services and workshops in-person and virtually.
